MICHAEL NAEGELE

Michael enlisted in the U.S Army Airborne at the age of 18, he served is country as a solider for 23 Years. He retired as a Military Police Instructor, retiring at the rank of Sergeant First Class. While in the service he attended a variety of specialized training and Instructor schools. Michael has worked as a Detention Officer and Instructor for the Anne Arundel County Detention Facilities. He then became a Department of the Army Civilian Police Officer for Aberdeen Proving Grounds Police Department. While at the Proving Grounds he taught as a Police Instructor at their academy and was in charge of several programs. He was promoted to Sergeant  and continued to work in Patrol and instruct at the academy. Upon his retirement from APG in 2010, Michael founded Personal Protection Training to continue his passion for teaching. Since starting Personal Protection Training his desire to teach has resulted in his obtaining additional instructor certifications to broaden his teaching abilities. Michael is currently a NRA rifle, pistol, and shotgun instructor. As well as a Chief RSO instructor. He is currently a Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross and able to conduct new instructor classes in a wide variety of Red cross disciplines. Michael also has attended the Utah CCW instructor class. He is a certified DCJS instructor and DC Metropolitan Police Special Police officer instructor. Michael is always looking to enhance his teaching abilities to serve the community.
